Catalan Cream is a traditional dessert originated in Catalonia, in the northeast corner of Spain.
This widely appreciated dessert is made with thick custard filling flavored with lemon peel and cinnamon, and covered with a thin layer of caramelized sugar on top.

Ingredients for a 4 kg tub:

  • White base 3500 g
  • Crema Catalana Traditional Paste 300 g
  • Milk 200 g
  • Catalan Crunchy Grains (to taste)

          Method of preparation

          • Mix together white base, milk and Crema Catalana Traditional Paste until smooth and well combined.

          • Process the mixture in the batch freezer, then garnish the gelato pan with Catalan Crunchy Grains.
